Abbeyism

Abbey had a fever for a week wirh no other symptoms.  So into the dr we go. possible bad stuff but they wanted to do all kinds of tests. We did a urinalysis and a blood draw. Abbey did great with a little screaming. I told her that she was so brave. We sent a picture to dad and I asked her if she wanted to send one to gramma.  And she said " no! Dont show any one. If the see I was brave, they will say,'you're brave. Go fight a bear. '"

SHOES!!!!

3 months ago I bought Larry new shoes. Not just shoes, Closed toed Chacos.
If you don't know, we are a chaco family. We wear our Chacos everywhere!
He told me after wearing them one, yes just one, time that he didn't like them. That they fit funny!
I was so sad. Not liking Chacos , what? It can't be!

Today, he was wearing them when I got home from work.
He says" ya know they fit better if you take the cardboard out."

I knew there was something I was forgetting to teach her...

We went to the Kirking the Tartan (Blessing of the Clans). It was at the Presbyterian church and it is done during their church services. When they passed the collection plate abbey leans over and says "Mom, why are people putting coupons in the collection plate?"
" Abbs, those are checks."

Maybe I use the card a little much.

Abbeys birthday

For abbeys birthday we took a group of girls to the salon and had their nails done and their hair styled.

Home for ice cream and cake.

Is she really that smart?

Larry gave Abbey $2 to get a treat. When she came back with the change she gave half to him and handed me 2 quarters. Larry asked her why she gave me the quarter and she said that " Mommy needs some cents."
Then she smiles at me like she really knows exactly what she said!

What does he really need?

For Mothers day Abbey brought home a flower from church for me.

(I was at work that day)
Weeks later she says to me, " What does the church give daddies for Fathers day?"

" I really don't know Abbey. What do you think that they would do?"

" Well, Maybe dirty socks!"

abbey was  at school when a earthquake was here. School ended early so she went home to mom and dad and she told them that there was an earthquake. And they told her that there was an earthquake here and she was surprised her house still stood. usually earthquakes make houses fall down sometimes. and she went to her room and her carpet was torn all over. the cat got so scared she went somewhere to tear the carpet she choosed my room, she had fun tearing my room up. So she teared my bed up very very much. I got mad at her. she meowed at me she got scared when i got mad at her. and she loved me so I stopped being mad at her. She was good.
