One day we decided to follow this road to see where it went. We followed it to the end of the island and the view was amazing. We found out that there was a beautiful black sand beach at the bottom of a "little" trail. We went back the next day...The trail was a little harder than a little trail, it was more like hiking up to Timpanogos cave without a paved trail. The beach was wonderful and the sand was amazing, it didn't even feel like sand. I couldn't keep Abbey out of the water. 
It was a fun little jaunt. When it was time to go Abbey was having a fit because she was dirty with sand and her dress was wet and we had to hike back up the mountain.
